![]() ![]() The thing about the DNS setting is that for another office location, that Server does not require pointing the DNS to the router. Apparently, the Netlogon service is not running and it's not able to start so I am going through some scans with that particular computer. I tried to disconnect from the domain and rejoin, but I have narrowed the issue down to a problem with the computer. I did find another issue though, while a workstation computer was able to connect to the domain previously, it somehow lost internet connectivity when I did that. This one seemed to have solved the issue, I did point the DNS server to the router and Internet access was restored. ![]() ![]() Is your Essentials server directly on the Internet or does it need to use a router for Internet access?.It sounds that the DNS setting was the problem as long as you didn't make sure how this Essentials server gets not only the IP addresses of your organisation but also of all other devices on the Internet. If the Essentials server really has a public static IP address on the Internet, then this should work setting it also static. ![]()
